Hi,
Recorded an item this morning of a friends name being mentioned on milkshake
how do I retrieve the data to put onto a disc or pen drive?

While the hard drive inside a sky+ box is a normal PC hard drive, and can be plugged into a normal PC, from what I know, the information stored on it is encoded, so I don't think you will be able to view it on your PC. Plus, when you plug it back into the sky+ box, you'll have to reformat the drive.
I think the best approach is to burn a DVD with it on, then rip it to your computer. If you don't have a DVD writer with that TV, borrow one?0 -

Knew it would not be easy.....typical isnt it
