Vanquis App Etc:

Yep that is what I've done setup a DD to take the minimum payment and then make any extra payments manual, have you got a vanquis then, they come across in their information pack like they give regular increases if you play the game right?.They tell you the amount of time you need to leave, credit card companies tend to so you can't shout at them when you pay late. The best advice is to just pay when you get your statement, or always have a DD setup to take the minimum and then pay any extra, that way you are covered. Miss a payment and Vanquis will let everyone know, and you won't be eligible for limit increases for quite some time, they make this very very clear with their advertising and when you get a card.0 -
This can be dangerous as some cards adjust the DD amount if manual payment is made after the statement. For a minimum payment they may simply not to take it resulting in your statement amount not paid in full and all interest added as a result.Yep that is what I've done setup a DD to take the minimum payment and then make any extra payments manual, ...
I don't know if this is the case for Aqua - do your research or disregard the DD and pay manually the full amount.0 -

I do and had increases every 6 months ish, I've heard they are very strict though, if you go over the limit or miss a payment by a day you can forget increases for quite some time.0
