Viking direct - what is "Protection Plus" charge added to your order

I got here after spotting about £1 added to my order for 'Protection Plus'.
This allows you to send back goods after the 30 day free trial they offer, but there is NO WAY to remove it directly on the basket or checkout.
You can email or call them and ask them to set up my account so that it doesn't add the charge on.
But if you are logged on and go to this link, you can remove it yourself.
