Why is it you think that someone who *doesnt* want to send hundreds of pounds via paypal could be a fraudster? Are you telling me you'd feel safer if you received that amount via paypal? I'd be far more cautious accepting paypal.

I do understand your hesitancy, but I think you should perhaps warn the buyer (ideally before they had agreed to purchase) that you are performing checks which will delay dispatch.

In Germany bank transfers to pay for goods are very common, more widely used than Paypal. To your buyer this is a completely normal way to pay for something ordered online.

You guys got it . I have now written to the buyer about this ,I will ship the item out as soon as I get confirmation from the bank.
@Tragen : I know how fiddly Paypal can be , I've had problems with them before but they have sided with me in the past when I show them the evidence that they require. They also have took the hit when someone charged back from their card instead of paypal (Seller protection).
