Charge Back Success

Hi all,
Hope I am in the right section of the forum to be asking advice on this.
I submitted two charge back claims with my bank for goods received that were not safe and of unsatisfactory quality. I submitted evidence after evidence and finally the bank credited my account and wrote to confirm my claims were successful for both items and the two amounts were refunded back to my account.
Is the money mine again to spend? Is the seller likely to appeal this? I tried to return the goods but received no correspondence form the seller and this helped settle my claim. My bank haven't given me any more information other than successful claims and money will show up in account (which it has done)
I don't want to spend it if legally I need to wait a set time for the seller to contest or anything?
Thank You.

Yes, it is yours. It's usual for them to seek to recover the £ from the firm (although for small amounts they may not). Please be polite to OPs and remember this is a site for Claimants and Appellants to seek redress against their bank, ex-boss or retailer. If they wanted morality or the view of the IoD or Bank they'd ask them.0
