Any outlook experts out there.
I have Outlook 2016 on a 365 package, home use only.
I thought it was auto syncing with Outlook.com (the web version). I want to sync my calendar and contacts.
Cannot see how to do this have posted in a Microsoft help forum, no suggestions either. Seems ridiculous, I can transfer my contacts but it will not update.
The only other option is to use 3rd party software.
Miserable moan: you would think that Microsoft would integrate their own products.
Any ideas?

Do you mean you have both the physically installed Outlook software and also use the website to log in on other machines, etc?
If you're using the same account on both it should certainly sync? I'm looking at my outlook app - outlook PC application and outlook.com, for my work account, and the calendar is synced...
Unless "home use only" changes something ...Hello There. :beer:0 -
I have bought a Windows phone to replace my trusted blackberry. You could sync it locally via Blackberry link. I knew that there was no local sync for the Windows phone but thought that there must be one via Outlook.com.
I think that you can only do it with a business account.
The options seem to sync via Yahoo (Google no longer offers the service) or to use 3rd party software for a local sync.
I think it may be back to the blackberry!!0 -
I have Outlook 2013 on a tablet, on a 365 Personal account, and on a really quick look, it has sync'd my Calendar from my outlook.com account. (Probably Contacts too, although not had time to check that.)
I don't think I did anything particularly clever in setting it up though. It was using Exchange ActiveSync (which I guess was the default option it offered to me).
But it does work so there must be a way!0 -
