Hi,
I stupidly bought an Iphone 5C off a company on Ebay who claimed the phones were new and offered a 1 year warranty. The phone arrived all nicely boxed and looked great. After having the phone for about six weeks, though, it started to develop major faults. On contacting Ebay, they said they would not get involved as it was after the '30 days', so I contacted the company, and after doing a full restore to no avail, as they suggested, they agreed to replace the phone. The new one arrived as stated and again was fine, but for less than a couple of weeks this time. So, I contacted them straightaway and they told me to do a full restore again, but it hasn't worked. I have now requested a full refund, as I don't feel that I should accept a THIRD phone, which will probably be the same anyway. The company now appears to be ignoring my requests. What can I do? Please help!

Thank you so much for your help! I have contacted Paypal and they say that I should be covered. However, even though I have a receipt for the purchase, they seem to be struggling to find it on their system because it was paid by credit card. So, I can only hope that it works out!
Thank you again!
And thank you Agrinnall for your advice too!0 -
Have you tried the Apple store? If the phone has a warranty, they are more likely to replace it with a new handset of theirs, so at least you know it will have come from a legitimate source.
However, if the original seller wasn't legitimate, then Apple may deny any claim, but worth at try.0 -
:T Hi All,
I've been meaning to come back here and say a big thank you to you all for your help, as the other week I received my money back in full for the phone via Paypal!! I'm so please, but couldn't have done it without your help. Paypal were really efficient too and I was very impressed with the prompt way their dealt with the case. I hope this will now help anyone else who may be unfortunate enough to find themselves in a similar situation!0
