    If it was like our previous house, Calor owned the tank. We could change provider if all neighbours agreed but either the property owners or the new provider had to but the tank and piping from Calor at a huge cost so ended up being prohibitive to change suppliers. When we moved I think the government were trying to get Calor to make the change of ownership of its tanks on par with what they cost etc.
  • Also, if you do get this house. When you get your boiler serviced, make sure they know about LPG as it is more calorific than natural gas as the flow needs to be lower.
