Held an account with Lloyds for over 25 years, (now TSB). Had a GOLD packaged account for a number of years until I found the travel insurance did not cover me without a surcharge and the amount offered on mobile phone damage was caged with exclusions etc. Then cancelled.
I had no idea I could reclaim until I read Martin's newsletter.
Sent of a letter using the template with added information. Received a text message and then telephone call within days to discuss.
Within 24 hours they had agreed I was entitled to refund and by end of week I had +£2400 credited to my account.
