Options
Visiting london attraction (eg London Zoo / London eye) for 5 without taking the train to London (no 2 for 1 offers). Can anyone help?

It would be worth your while stopping on your way at a London train station and getting train tickets for one stop on the day as although you won't use them, it would still save you more money by getting the 2 for 1 entry.

If you want to do the attractions owned by Merlin, you can often find vouchers on Kellogs cereal http://grownupsgofree.kelloggs.co.uk/ but watch out as the London Eye often has very short validity.
