Ireland - Recommendations please!

We're looking to book two weeks in Western Ireland for August 2017. (I know it's a long way off but we need to save up!)
We have never been there before but it's a place we have longed to visit. We do have a criteria:
* Dog friendly (ideally with garden)
* Children welcome
* Rural / coastal
* Secluded
* Cottage / Yurt or similar
Does anyone have any recommendations please? Have had a look at a few but not really sure where to start or the best places to visit.
Many thanks! :wave:

I do love the west coast of Ireland. I have no especial recommendations - the beaches are beautiful - but I would say to allow plenty of time - the roads are windy and you can't get up a great deal of speed!0

Do a road trip
The Wild Atlantic Way would be a great choiceChange is inevitable, except from a vending machine.0 -
