What do people think of John Baron's IT Portfolios?
He publishes a monthly column in Investors Chronicle about his growth and income portfolios, and you can find three more portfolios described on his website.
In particular his Winter portfolio is built for those wishing to preserve value.
I was interested in your thoughts, and if anyone follows these to the letter in real life?
Cheers fj

Follow his portfolios. As with anything published in the press. Prices do react as a consequence. Therefore I tend to monitor along with other funds that come up on the radar. As you never know when a good buying opportunity may arise at a later date.0

What you say is correct, usually the price is built in because by the time it's in the press the market has already reacted.

I'm not sure that the press/market reaction has any real relevance here, the portfolios from Barron are long term and not the same as individual stocks.0
