    ".......[GBP, USD]
Sterling has been on a mixed footing, falling against the dollar on Friday, but gaining versus the euro and yen. The UK calendar this week is not likely to be good for sterling bulls. The February BoE MPC meeting is up (announcing Thursday), which is expected to leave policy unchanged, while the minutes are likely to re-affirm a no-rush-to-hike stance. January PMI surveys are likely to reaffirm that the economy is loosing momentum, albeit still expanding at a reasonable pace. The pound is some 6% below levels seen in early December, but we continue to see risk of further losses in the case against the dollar. Cable looks set to revisit its Jan-21 low at 1.4079 and, beyond that, have a look at 1.4000..........."

Edited to say, If you have dollars Aesop and the exchange rate shows a weak pound, (which is what they are saying) then you get MORE pounds for your dollar. If you wait for teh pound to rise, you get LESS pounds for your dollar. They say the pound if 6% Down on early December - Woo hooo ! Dip your bread in !

This is my first time doing this challenge so I am trying to figure out how I will raise my funds. Life rural so no car boots, facebook selling. I am starting out on a positive note with £2.57 on the bay. Just 117.43 to go.....

    Snap, Happymac;)

Rural life sucks sometimes when it comes to many of the money-making opportunities that urban dwellers take for granted:(
  • Sorry Aesop, just edited my post x - In answer to that last question, who knows what the money markets will do. From memory I can remember the exchange rate at 1.29 and at 1.69, but I don't watch it that closely - we're somewhere in the middle now and unless you're talking a lot of dollars, waiting short term will not make much difference.

I'm in again this month. I still have lots to sell, so I'm hopeful of reaching my target of 10 per day.
    Trying to keep in budget.
