HI All,
The variety of laptops is just so confusing to be honest.
I want to get a new laptop, I bought my last one form aldi around 3 or 4 years ago but there are a number of issues with it for example, it heats up so so much. This would put me off getting another from there, oh and the battery life has been terrible, from about a year after buying it the battery life is a matter of seconds. Does anyone else have these type of problems with their laptops?
My present one is a Gericom Smart Power with
15" TFT (SXGA+ 1400 x 1050) monitor
512 MB DDR-RAM
NVIDIA GeForce FX5600, 128MB RAM
60 GB HDD
DVD+/-R/RW
Can anyone recommend anything better ....?

I would go with Dell, that way you can choose what features you want.
I have never had a problem with Dell, in fact when my laptop packed up (out of warranty) they tried to fix it for me, then replaced it for free.0 -
