Is the search engine broken?

I am getting same error -connection to mse-forums-db.hosted-at.thebunker.net:3312 failed (errno=111, msg=Connection refused). -

I am trying to find magazine comps,(usually works if I search the word Issue) as I've missed them all while in hospital, then lappy broke. cleared 3k+ losing emails, Just about to start comping again and phut.

hi, not sure which mag comps you mean,
if it's the weekly ones might be easier/better to do
them by the ops postings as search is still playing up,
ie: chat puzzles

I have used Advanced Search which no issues for a few months but last night that went down.
Before that normal Search was OK.

Here's a temporary workaround for you. Go to the google search engine and paste this text into the search box:

site:forums.moneysavingexpert.com "E:" issue

Press enter and then, to weed out all the really old stuff, click on the words 'search tools', just under the search box. This will give you three options underneath, one of which is 'Any Time'. Click on it and change it to 'last week' or 'last month'.
