I think I know what you are trying to achieve, but perhaps you could explain in your own words why you want to do this? How much money is involved? Where do you keep the money now?

I don't quite follow your line of thinking.

Interest on a savings account is proportional to the time and amount of money in there.

You can't temporarily transfer money in from another account just to wash the tax liability away from the interest earned, if that's what you meant.

Thanks just have not got ISA could have transferred full amount for just a few days to get tax relief on tiny interest. But better in Santander tbh!

Depends on the amounts. But there are better places than Santander.

difficult to make any sense of what you waht to achieve

you should save your money in the best interest rate taking into account taxation
after april that won't be a problem for most people as the tax rules change.

Are there any ISAs that pay a full year's interest on money put in the ISA for only a few days? No.
