It is common on forums that have a post limit before you can add links to make genuine sounding posts essentially copy/pasting the same sort of texts regardless of validity, to bump up the post count so they can then spam.0

There are a couple in the credit card / credit rating forum doing this tactic of repeating the same thing over and over to boost post count even if the info is wrong. Suppose it makes a change from the Indian spam that happens every so often (all the ones including the phone number starting 91)Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
