It's all from personal experiance, 10 years ago I was 57k in debt, never missed a payment in my life, perfect credit.
Then my then wife had an accident at work, which meant she had to stop working (recovery took 6 years) as a result income halved overnight, I was a bit green, and new to it all, I had to learn fast how to deal with things, a real eye opener I can tell you.
This forum helped immensely, gave me the knowledge and confidence to sort things out, hopefully it will help you out too !!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
