Remaining PUC payments from Salary
Hi All - After a bit of advice. Does anyone have any experience of having a company car (incidentally was a lease car from Lex) and having the remaining PUC payments for the remaining lease period taken from their final pay check?
I had 2300 taken from my final check - I was seeking guidance on whether or not this was correct
The was not to cover early repayments to Lex autolease - It was taken by my old employer
My old employer states
the pool of outstanding PUC deductions offsets against the pool of Early Termination costs on trade-up vehicles, and we do not make a ‘profit’ (my over emphasis) out of employees by making these deductions; we merely ensure that the costs of offering an enhanced choice are covered.
I wanted to take it further but wanted guidance first
Any help would be appreciated
Jason
