Terms & Conditions for Teletext Ltd. wellness research competition.
2 adults, 7 nights, all inclusive, in a 4* hotel/resort in the Canary Islands. Flights, baggage and airport transfers included.
1. In order to enter the competition, entrants must answer the question correctly, accept the T&Cs and submit their name and email address in the required fields.
2. Your entry and any information submitted by you must be personal to and relate specifically to you. You warrant that your entry and all information which you submit and/or distribute will not infringe the intellectual property, privacy or any other rights of any third party, and will not contain anything which is offensive, defamatory, obscene, indecent, harassing or threatening. In addition, you warrant that you have permission to use or feature any people, content or other material contained within your entry. Teletext Ltd reserves the right to screen, filter and/or monitor entries for this purpose and remove any that may be considered offensive suspicious or fraudulent.
3. Proof of uploading or emailing cannot be accepted as proof of delivery. Teletext Ltd. cannot accept responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft, destruction, alteration of or unauthorised access to entries, or entries lost, damaged or delayed as a result of server functions, technical issues, virus, bugs or other causes outside Teletext Ltd’s control.
4. Teletext Ltd has the right to use all information provided or contact the entrance in future marketing or promotional material once the ‘sign up for ur newsletter’ box has been ticked.
5. Teletext Ltd has the right to use submitted email addresses for retargeting on social channels.
6. The competition runs from 25th January 2016 until 7th February 2016 at 10.00pm (UK time). The winner will be chosen at random from all valid entries and will be formally notified (by email) within 21 days of the closing date. Teletext Ltd. Also reserves the right to announce the winner on their Social Media channels, using their first and surname.
7. The holiday to the Canary Islands must be taken between 01/05/2016 – 30/06/2016 or 01/09/2016 – 31/10/2016
8. The prize is for 2 adults, 7 nights, in a 4* hotel/resort in the Canary Islands. Holiday is based on twin room, all inclusive basis, return flights, baggage and resort transfers included.
9. Room is subject to hotel availability at the time of booking and additional hotel terms and conditions apply. Teletext Ltd reserves the right to change the hotel/destination should there be no availability at the time of booking.
10. Entrants who select the email opt in box do so by agreeing to receive regular email communications from Teletext Ltd. Should entrants no longer wish to receive emails from Teletext Ltd, they may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time.
11. Teletext Ltd does not sell or share your data with any other company. However for the prize winners only, we may pass your details on to our service providers and agents for the purposes of organising the prize on our behalf.
12. The booking must be made by 31/03/2016 or else you forfeit the prize. Dates, airport and reservations cannot be altered once confirmed with supplier.
13. Spending money, travel insurance, visas, other modes of transport or any other expenses incurred such as telephone calls, laundry, food, drinks, tips etc. are not included and are the responsibility of the prize winner to settle.
14. Blackout dates are in place, departures during peak travel times, national holidays and bank holidays are excluded.
15. Flight departures and times are dependent on availability. Teletext Ltd will aim to organise departures and return flights to and from the closest main city airport as possible. It is up to the winner to organise transport to this location at their expense if necessary.
16. The selected winner will be put in contact with Teletext Ltd fulfilment partner to arrange booking via phone. If Teletext Ltd (or their partner) cannot get in contact within 7 days of picking the winner. The prize will be offered to an alternative person.
17. Entrants must be at least 18 years of age and be living and a resident of the UK to enter this competition & hold a valid passport.
18. The competition is not open to employees associated with Teletext Ltd, and their associated companies or their families.
19. This prize is non-transferable and must be taken by the prize winner.
20. There are no cash alternatives or alternative prizes available.
21. In the event of the advertised competition prize being unavailable Teletext Ltd reserves the right to offer an alternative prize or prizes of equal or greater value.
22. Teletext’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
23. Competition winners may be required to take part in or co-operate with publicity.
24. Use of false name or addresses, for example, a name by which the entrant is not usually known, will disqualify them from receiving any prize. Teletext Ltd reserves the right to oblige any potential winner to provide documentary proof of their identity and age and address as directed by Teletext before such person may claim their prize. In certain circumstances, Teletext shall, at its discretion, require any person to present themselves in person supported by such documentation for identification purposes (we will reimburse all reasonable travel costs incurred) prior to releasing the prize.
25. Teletext Ltd. shall be entitled to terminate or modify the promotion or to modify these rules at any time prior to the closing date by publishing any such modification or termination on the Teletext Ltd website. Entry in the competition implies acceptance of these rules.
26. Entrants may only enter this competition once.
27. These rules are governed by English law.
