Just been catching up with the end of yesterday's thread.
BB I am so sorry to hear of your friend's passing.:( (((HUG)))
Been into town for the weekly F&V run; also got my Omeprazole prescription. Exciting stuff, eh?
However - we've actually had washing out on the whirligig today!!!!!!!:TIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Evening.
Just a day shopping for me. Nothing special. I'm tired though probably cause hubby woke me at 3am and i couldnt sleep for ages after. No worries, i usually get a second wind around 8pm which carries me through till bedtime.
The wind has eased somewhat but its blasted cold!
Despite saying i was going to cut down my visits to Mom i visited her this afternoon. I took her some fresh fruit which she really enjoyed. She ate her tea too. She is eating and drinking well. I took her a magazine and some bits and pieces.
Our evening meal is late tonight. Roast pork. Well i'd best stop yawning and move myself or we wont be eating at all.
Have a good evening all. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Evening ((((((((((hugs)))))))))) if you need one. Very late posting. OH kept me awake coughing again last night, it was 11.30 before I got out of bed. Did manage to go the Friday clean and washed the the kitchen floor.
It was a bright morning, but it turned very cold late this afternoon. OH was messing about in the garden until lunch time.
Just had cheese and shallot frittata with salad for supper. Pork for tomorrow is thawing in the fridge.0 -
Good evening everyone,
BB my condolences on the loss of your friend, taken so young.
Well last night was very wet and windy, but today has been bright and blowy, so I have managed to get some washing dry outside, it always smells so nice.
I have had a quite relaxed day today, the house is pretty clean and tidy, so I have just cleaned the bathrooms and went and did some food shopping. However, parking in my local Ald* was a nightmare, so I had to park in an opposite car park so didn't get everything I wanted as I couldn't carry it, so I will have to do so more tomorrow.
DD and DS have both gone to their respective jobs, and DH is on his way home, so its just the two of us for dinner. I have a couple of salmon fishcakes for dinner so I had better go and get cook them.
I hope everyone stays warm and safe. Have a good evening everyone. x.SPC 11 #4450 -
Evening all,
Not a very nice day here, cold and damp.
Mossy and Bra n were off to vet for annual shots, OH and DSIL to be took them and I stayed with DD4, DGS2 and girls, they were in great form and enjoying their porridge,
and then stretching up to be taken up for a cuddle, they are a handful but DD seems to be coping very well and enjoying herself.
Have been crocheting a poncho for DD1 for the past 3 weeks and cant seem to get into it....no problem with stitch, wool or anything else, just finding it difficult to keep going,
need to boot myself into action.
Stay safe and well everybody, and keep warm.

Evening
Sorry to hear of your loss BB.
Busy day here, got up early and put wash on, got it out on the line for the first time in ages, so lovely to get out in fresh air. As well as usual jobs I gave the bathroom a deep clean today, it makes such a difference. Also swept leaves from front path as rec not winds have made a lot blow in our garden and path was quite slippy. Didn't make any bread today as had some part baked rolls (which I just toast) left over from Christmas but have some multigrain flour which I got when on offer and may have a go with that tomorrow when I have oven on to do roast. Dinner tonight was hm pie with wedges and peas, also made some flapjacks while I had the oven on. DW now on, I reckon I've earned a sit down and a few choccies. Just realised some of you might think we like pie etc a lot to have 2 days running. We ended up not having it last night as DS. Didn't message and turned up with a huge pizza. They had been sharing them at work and there was a lot left over so they could bring some home. I let pie etc go cold and warmed through tonight.Thoughts to all. Mrs D.
