To be honest i go arond the country picking up damaged cars for a rental company, and sadley youve just as much chance of it getting broke into at an airport carpark

The airport is quite a way out of Bristol. Your parents would need to get a taxi (unless they want to get to Temple Meads to catch the airport bus) which will cost them about fifteen pounds in each direction. They're really better off leaving it at the airport if they're only going for 11 nights, I think. I usually use this site rather than the official airport parking. I've used them several times.

The bus fare is actually £7 return.

I would be a little wary of some of the "cheap" parking that is available in that area. Most of it isn't licensed and probably not insured.
I would agree, the airport, even at their rip-off prices, is probably the better bet.

As a "local" to Bristol Airport, my advice is to watch out for some of the "unofficial" car parks, who wait till their clients have left in the complimentary shuttle bus, then drive the car to somewhere else for storage!
This happens regularly at several off-airport sites - I suggest your parents check their speedo reading on departure and return!!

(No I don't work for Bristol Airport! Think their parking is a rip-off too, but there have been previous threads about this, and the practice of moving parked cars up to 6-7 miles away is common knowledge around here...)

Silverzone carpark is the best price to convenience ratio carpark at Bistol in my opinion. It's a 5 minute Bus ride away, and is an official carpark.

    Just google "bristol airport silverzone"

If you look in the right place you can usually get a code to get a discount.

There is only on decent hotel nearby, the holiday inn, and its expensive and AFAIK they don't do packages inclusive of parking - their carpark is not big enough for sure.

I checked the local Holiday Inn and it is not cheap for parking & room. 11 days parking at the Airport is about £50 if booked and advance, which is not bad by the general standard of Airports, and I don't think you'll save a great deal using the off-site facilities.

IF the Holiday Inn does parking packages then the parking will not be in the hotel car park but in one of the official airport car parks. That is the case with 95% of the hotel/parking packages at any airport. Hotels just do not have the parking spaces for 7 or 14 times as many cars as rooms.

Can still be a bargain though compared to separate purchases.
