Google Chrome and Vista Home

Today when opening up Google webpage, it says Google Chrome wouldn’t be supported by XP and Vista.
I have vista installed and using Chrome, what date would the Chrome updates finish?
Can I install Win 7 keeping the present programs (upgrade from Vista to Win 7) and where can I get the Win 7 from as all main retailers sell Win 10?

I am using Version 48.0.2564.97 of Chrome and is up to date.
