Hi,
I'm interested in reclaiming PPI but don't know where to start! I opened my first bank account in 2007 and got an overdraft and credit card in 2009. Can you only make a claim if the account was opened before a certain date?
Any help/advice is very much appreciated!

The date is only important if the company who sold the PPI is no longer trading, or it was before regulation.
In your case, you just make a complaint (not claim) that your PPI was mis-sold to you, by contacting whoever sold it.
Did you definitely take out PPI cover?0
