Form of assignment and agreement

Hi, was wondering if anyone could help. I had a non fault accident on 5/11/15. My car was fixed quickly and I paid no excess. Shortly after xmas i received a letter from a solicitor stating third party's insurance company had failed to pay. I signed forms and sent back. Today i've received a form of assignment and agreement. It mentions third party 's insurance company but also refers to her as uninsured. What does thos document mean? It refers to repairs to my car but not the hire car. Should I sign the form?
Thanks
Thanks

Best query this with your solicitors.
Form of assignment & agreement basically gives the insurer the rights to sue the uninsured motorist for what they have had to pay out dealing with your claim.
I would suspect the other driver was not a named driver on the policy that covered the car she was driving.0 -

Should I query it with the solicitor it came from (the ones my insurance instructed to recover the money) or do I need an independent one? I do not have legal cover.

Just query it with them and make sure they are aware that you have a hire charges claim too.0
