Oh dear. I would ring the court right now and ask if they've processed it yet as you clicked submit by mistake...try it...try it...

Tell them you only wanted to acknowledge and anything in the defence box is an error/draft. Maybe if they've not logged the acknowledgement they will let you resubmit the ack by post instead, then the defence. Never seen anyone do that before although there was a case when a person put 'TBA' or 'to follow' in the defence box which came back to bite them (defence was struck out I think).

It's too late. I can apply for an amendment to the claim response or prepare additional materials for my defence.

I assume I am seriously screwed now?

You'd have to pay to amend that defence wouldn't you - but I don't see you have a choice. You cannot base a defence fighting £900 at a hearing on 'the proceedings are ridiculous and I'm a resident'. And as £900 is at stake I suspect you will have to - but this time do not rush, wait and see what others say - and the BMPA too.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I've contacted the BMPA and I'll have a look on parking prankster. Thanks for all the help.
