Okay, first the UUs:
1-2. Soltan Moisturising Suncare Spray SPF 15 75ml x 2 - WNBA, find that this balls on my skin. Still a few more left from a glitch a few years back. Fine for travel and will use most of the remaining stash later this month as I have another holiday planned
3. Garnier AS Protection Lotion SPF 10 200ml - HG, WDBA.
4. Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration Protective Sun Lotion 59ml - HG, WDBA.
5. Nivea Q10 Firming Body Lotion 250ml - did the job but WBA only on glitch as this wa as doesn't wow me.
6. S&G Foam Call 500ml - WBA, like the scent and lathers well.
7. Vichy Idelia Smoothing & Illuminating Cream 3ml - nice freebie, WMBA as I quite like the Vichy moisturisers I've tried.
8. Tigi Bed Head Control Freak Shampoo 400ml - WNBA, left my hair quite tangled.
9. Regis Design Line Moisture Conditioner 350ml - WNBA, a bit meh.
10. Philosophy Melon Daiquiri Shower gel 180ml - gifted and nice enough but probably WNB.
11. Sanctuary Mela Amla & cardamom Shower Drench 250ml - WDBA but discon I think - smells amazing.
and lots of sachets!
Then I have 12 L'Occitane minis (S&C, shower gel and lotion) thanks to one of the hotels we stayed in offering a never-ending daily supply, plus the L'Occ freebie offer recently. Plus 2 S&G INs (shower gel and body butter) and 3 No7 ones (with body scrub) thanks to the Boots 70% sale.
On the plus side I finished two large Yankee Candles
So January had me +6!
My first Feb UU:
1/12. Nivea Firming Body Lotion 250ml - the last of these, and as above probably WNBA.MFW 2017 #123 2018: £1,852.64/£39,200 (4.7%)0 -
Think I had the last use from a rather dry feeling tube of mascara so it's gone in the bin. I have others.SPC~12 ot 124

VALM - how long do you do the sealed pot challenge for?
I basically started mine last week and planning on doing it until Christmas where I'm saving up for a bag that I really really really want but could never afford. So I'm doing £1 for product I finish (it has to be a LHJ though and has to be a non 1 time use product) and then I'm also putting in £20/month if I don't buy any beauty products, I also decided to put all my spare change in there too, so I'm hoping by the end of the year I'll have most of the money for this bag.
Does anyone else do this challenge in conjunction with the no buying toiletries? No buying toiletries challenge

I'm definitely going to copy this - what a great idea!
What bag are you saving for?0 -
Final figures for January are 15 Outs and 10 Ins - fell for the Boots triple points thing. The ins were bargains, honestly . . .
I have set myself an easy PP for February to ease myself in:
- Soap & Glory lime body scrub mini (don't think these do anything, this was a present)
- No 7 Sand eyeshadow, bought in 2007
- Rimmel Stay Matte primer - nearly done
- Sanctuary Spa Heel Balm - nearly done
- L'oreal extraordinary oil cream - am very bad at bothering to moisturise but must get better
Cheering you all on this month :T0 -

Hi momobingu the sealed pot challenge is another MSE thread. It is to run until the beginning of December. I decided to bank mine each month to stop me digging into the money. I have a Pringles tube that I have cut a hole in the top of. I needed to bank it cos it was full too. I put in £3 for a PP or 6 by Spring item, £1 for other full sized item, 50p for travel sized item and 20p per sachet. I've also been putting spare change in. It helped this month being able to find loads of change around the house.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

I feel quite pleased with my progress so far. I've noticed that I have about a dozen items which I've already started or almost hit pan on so it shouldn't take me too long to get through them. I seem to be really good at getting through the body lotions, butters and moisturisers. I try to moisturise once in the morning and after my shower in the evening. Other products like shower gels (100ml will last me about 3 weeks) and lip balm are taking longer. I also have a few perfumes and body sprays with not many spritzes left I hope to get through.
INs
I got a Beyonc! Heat Rush gift set as it was heavily reduced in Boots and is a lovely scent. It came with 75ml shower gel and 75ml body cream
Loreal Skin Perfection Micellar Gel Sensitive Eye Make-Up Remover 125ml - I got this in the Boots sale for £2 as I don't have much left of my current eye make-up remover and I prefer using gels.
Garnier Body Intensive 7 Days Hydrating Lotion 250ml - I have a lot of thin moisturiser which isn't working as well in the stormy weather so I'm trying some new stuff.
Westlab Himalayan Salt 1kg - This is £2.49 in Home Bargains and Boots. I got this to use in my now once-a-week bath ritual. I've started this to use up old bath products but I am now looking forward to my bath every week. This was a good price for so much bath salt.
UU
Not much this week but a lot of things are tantalisingly close to being finished.
Beauty Formulas Feminine Intimate Cleansing Wash 250ml - WNBA as I'm trying to phase out products in my stash with sulphates as my skin is sensitive to it. I would say this is a good product though.
Superdrug Tea Tree Facial Wash 30ml - WNBA I initially bought this for travel. As it had sulphates, it made my skin bad on my face. I used up the last of this as shower gel. It smelled amazing (I love the smell of tea tree) and felt refreshing although I would not use it again as it broke me out.
I have been having some winter blues due to Seasonal Affective Disorder (well I believe this is what it is as nothing bad has been happening but I've felt depressed for months). Anyway, I've decided that if treating myself to beauty products brightens up my mood at this time, I'll keep it up even though it adds to my stash. No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2019 Total UU since 2016 - 396 | Total February UU - 10 -

Also a good security measure. I used to save pound coins in a big jar and it was stolen during a burglary. There was a lot of money in it as it was almost full and I had terrible trouble convincing the insurer that I wasn't making it up.0 -
And yesterday MRM managed to prize open the Tarte foundation. There is a good sized pool in the bottom. Will be intersting to see how long this lasts.
I'm glad you managed to get into it! it annoys me when there's stuff left of good products and you just can't use them.
A couple of UU's from the weekend for me:
- Lush bath bomb. No idea which, it was really oldStill smelled nice and turned the water a lovely pinky red.
- A Clinique superpowder doublepowder. One from my 6 by spring list, yay! I broke up and crushed all the little bits around the edge and got another week or so from it.
So my 6 by Spring looks like:
- Maybelline dream matte mousse foundation
- Clinique Superpowder x [STRIKE]2[/STRIKE] 1
- Clinique superfine liner for brows
- Ren lipgloss
- Urban decay original primer
- Barry M Chisel Cheeks contour kit0
