This offer would appear to be from
"Hot Stock Investment offer
Oct 15, 2015
Invest in Stock and get 50% of your investment every Thursday of each week for the rest year."
So if I put £1000 in, I'll get £500 every Thursday for a year?
Seems too good to be true?

Everything below the Nationwide link is an obvious scam. What has it got to do with the Nationwide page?0

Please explain again - how do you make the connection between some guy with an email address at outlook.com and the Nationwide Building Society?0

As long as people confuse social media pages such as Facebook, LinkedIn etc (pages that are under the control of the user) with reality, then there will always be idiots to scam.Brooker_Dave wrote: »Linkedin page of the guy who purports to run Silverstone Master Issuer Plc, which appears to be something to do with or owned by Nationwide?
Why else would the page have nationwide branding?
Gee,golly, gosh. You think??? :rotfl:Brooker_Dave wrote: »

I cannot see anything on the LinkedIn page that refers to Nationwide, and I cannot see anything on the Nationwide page that talks about a 50% offer. Best perhaps if you ask Nationwide if you think any of this could be real.0

You would think that Silverstone Master Issuer would have had the profile removed?
Given it's the first google result for them?Gee,golly, gosh. You think??? :rotfl:
You mean I'm not going to be rich?
Just goes to show that you have to be careful out there."Love you Dave Brooker! x"

Of course, no-one has ever had their LinkedIn or Facebook page hacked, have they?
It must be so easy to be a scammer nowadays....people seem to tripover themselves to hand over their cash based on nothing but a glitzy webpage.0 -
Anyone who asks the question is too naive/greedy/dumb to be allowed control over their own money.Brooker_Dave wrote: »So if I put £1000 in, I'll get £500 every Thursday for a year?
Seems too good to be true?loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.0 -
This thread needs to be deleted. It is clearly some kind of scam. This is (at least) the second time OP has been posting about this now.0
