Will I loss out on 123 account if yuo close it?

Hi , I have a Santander 123 account and was thinking of closing it but as I have a Santatnder isa flexible, I was told I would loss the higher interest on it as it only gives you this interest if you have a 123 account .
Is this true ?

Yes, you need the 123 account to qualify.
