toilet flush

Two toilets, both flush problems
The first has a horizontal flush push button in a wall, push button into the wall, inside there are two small pipes a green one and a clear one, some sort of vacuum operation? The flush is meagre when pressed.
The second is the refill keeps refilling and overflows into the bowl. This has a small black float on a vertical upright but for some reason it doesn't always shut off.

Is the float a fluidmaster?
We had the same issue, the float was so limeacaled it kept getting stuck on the shaft so the water kept coming in. Probably should have replaced it but I just descaled it and put it back!0
