I've just received this message from Barclays Bank:
It appears the rewards were paid, and the fee taken, on the first working day of the month previously.
Barclays Blue Rewards - Your Reward(s) will now be paid on the 2nd working day of each month, and the fee will be taken on the same day. Thank you
