Options
a few years ago i was in uni, i maxed out 3 credit cards.....

i always paid minimum payments on them........

however last month my egg card had expired..... and it wasnt replaced.....
so i phoned and asked where it was????
it was a £500 limit... now on £400

they said they had closedf my account and basically all i was doing was paying them back....

im not going to cause a fuss cause im working through my cards paying them off.... ive almost finished cap one card.... and opened up an aqua card to improve my raiting... as its more manigable..... havent spent on it yet thou

i have a student barcley card with
£600 of £600 20%
and a nationwide £2000 of £2000 @ 17%

i am paying off the cards £400 each a month....

has any one else had there accounts closed??? with egg??? i dont think they are very good at managing accounts anyway! i got my credit report last week and they are all ok! :S
egg didnt ring me
egg didnt email me
egg didnt write to me

i even orderd a replacement card online and said it would turn up in 7 to 10 days....

i think this is strange??? could i claim that i dont have all facilities that i originally signed up for..... could i say im not going to pay?

Unfortunately, yes - My card with Sainsburys has been reducing as I pay monies in (There is a separate thread with my opinions), and I have seen other threads where cards are not renewed. The general attitude of the Banks is 'Am I bothered?', and you can't seriously expect such poverty striken Companies to be able to afford a stamp! Outrageous thought. Regarding rebellion, as the Daleks say 'Resistance is futile', it seems the T&C's basically say 'We can do what we like, when we like, how we like and you can't do anything to stop us'. I'm sure a T&C-aholic will find T&C 356.5.11 that will explain it all in Corporate Nonsense. Sorry, the good news is that you do calm down after a few Months.
