Motherboard / Soundcard query..

Options
Hey all..

Recently bought this motherboard on behalf of a friend http://www.dcsplc.co.uk/product/35613 (Not from that website though).
Anyway i was under the impression that it was already 5.1 compatible as in I wouldn't need to buy anything else but it clearly isn't..

Anyway can someone advise what soundcard I would need to buy to get this 5.1 sound system to work with the above mentioned motherboard.. http://www.amazon.com/Genius-SW-5-1-1000-25-watt-110V-US/dp/B000KWLQCE

Please keep suggestions cheap ;)

Thanks..
I would have used my own initiative if someone would have told me to!

    Which means what?
That it should be built in?

The colours on the motherboard don't match the colours for the 5.1 system cables.
I often build PC's but this is my first time experience with 5.1 systems so I'm not sure what I'm doing..

The motherboard has just the standard green, pink, blue inputs and outputs but the speaker cables are brown white and yellow if I remember correctly, I was expecting to see something that would match up..
I would have used my own initiative if someone would have told me to!

If I just buy the one you mentioned before It'll be plug and play off I go or will I encounter anymore problems?

All you need to know is what connector does centre, what does rear surround and what does front surround. The colour they are is completely irrelevent and just to let you know, the colours on a computer are to meet PC99 spec and have nothing to do with any standards for Hi-Fi.
