I recently painted the tiles in our kitchen and they didn't look good when I'd finished. From a distance they looked OK but not up close. Now having it re-tiled instead :rotfl:

    Hi.

I personally wouldn't paint tiles...Get them cleaned or polished, do what you want but painting in my eyes is going back to 70ties when people had no money. Many rented properties are painted like that to save costs.
    good things happened..

I've tiled over tiles several times and there has never been a problem.
I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.
  • The heat from shower and steam will make tile paint peel after a while, got the T shirt.

    Thanks folks
I have to save money somewhere so I might just refurb my kitchen units (instead of the new kitchen) but spend money on getting the shower room done properly.
    But that's for another thread!
