Hello
I've seen a sky package with 50% off for switching from VM which I'd like to have.
However I am currently in contract with VM. I had thought I was able to cancel VM due to next months price increases, but have seen some info saying I would have needed to cancel within 30 days of receiving the letter from VM.
Anyone know whether VM Are likely to accept a cancellation request from me ?
Thanks
Mike

if you cancel inside your minimum term, you will be charged an Early Termination of Contract (ETC) fee equal to the number of months left on your contract. Since this is likely to wipe out any potential saving made by accepting the Sky deal, I'd recommend you stay put with Virgin.0

If the price rise is more than the RPI then you may be able to cancel penalty free, provided you do so within the time-frame provided in the notification letter, usually 30 days. This depends on what is in your contract.
If the letter was more than 30 days ago, then what Moneyineptitude has advised is correct.0 -

i received this mid dec.
