Lodges Holidays with a dog - any recommendations?

HI everyone.
I am thinking to treat my partner for his birthday this weekend, to a nice long weekend away in a log cabin style / lodge holiday. I know it's short notice, but just had this crazy idea today and thought why not!!
We do have a small dog too.
Can anyone recommend any nice ones? We are in Birmingham, but willing to travel up to 2 hours.

what sort of short notice ? try cottages for u or dog friendly holiday homes etc:cool: hard as nails on the internet . wimp in the real world :cool:0
