Gap between bath and floor

Picking up on a thread from 2005, we have recently renovated our bathroom, but the bath has been raised too high and there is now a significant gap between the lino floor and the base of the bath cover. The bath is curved, and cover is white plastic.
We can't get the bath lowered again easily as we've had tiling put all around the bath at this height.
Could we use some plastic internal cladding which we could bend to fit the shape of the bath? Would this be sufficiently waterproof? How easy would this be for complete DIY dunces to achieve?
Thanks!

You could buy some thin white plastic strip, they are usually in the "mouldings" section in DIY stores and affix it to the inside of the bath panel (assuming it is easy to remove/replace) with some strong adhesive. Not sure it needs to be "waterproof" unless you are thinking of using your bathroom as a wet room.
