  • Maria - i waited 3 days for the broker to tell me the offer was on its way following the valuation. 2 days later it arrived via FAX to the broker. Full offer i received about 3 days later in the post.
  • Oh thankyou takeitasred....the wait is killing me, really excited!!!!
  • i know the feeling - but as long as valuation is ok, i am sure you will be fine.

Nationwide via a Broker. DIP Approved received last night, Val booked this morning, further paperwork (statements etc) requested today which I'll provide tomorrow.

We're FTBs and even though I work for a commercial specialist lender (albeit on the Internal Services side so nothing to do with the mortgage process) it's still nerve-wracking!
  • Wow your process seems to be going really quickly. Good luck with it.
My mortgage process is going at a very slow pace.
i know what you mean ... i keep on checking on my phone to see for any updates.
do you know how long it would take after getting the mortgage offer to getting the keys????

From now up to Exchange is the slowest I believe as it's this point where the Underwriters will explore the case and all evidence provided.

We have some cases complete in 4 weeks (though again, this is commercial and in those cases repeat borrowers) anything up to 3 months is normal.

We had one case which took just under 2 years apparently - though I've no idea why!!
  • Lol I hope that our mortgage process doesn't take that long
