Maria - i waited 3 days for the broker to tell me the offer was on its way following the valuation. 2 days later it arrived via FAX to the broker. Full offer i received about 3 days later in the post.0

Nationwide via a Broker. DIP Approved received last night, Val booked this morning, further paperwork (statements etc) requested today which I'll provide tomorrow.
We're FTBs and even though I work for a commercial specialist lender (albeit on the Internal Services side so nothing to do with the mortgage process) it's still nerve-wracking!0 -
Wow your process seems to be going really quickly. Good luck with it.
My mortgage process is going at a very slow pace.
i know what you mean ... i keep on checking on my phone to see for any updates.
do you know how long it would take after getting the mortgage offer to getting the keys????0 -
From now up to Exchange is the slowest I believe as it's this point where the Underwriters will explore the case and all evidence provided.
We have some cases complete in 4 weeks (though again, this is commercial and in those cases repeat borrowers) anything up to 3 months is normal.
We had one case which took just under 2 years apparently - though I've no idea why!!0 -
Lol I hope that our mortgage process doesn't take that long0
