Its still on there, we have 2 65 plates (Titanium & ST) and both have it as did our last ones (64 plates) and the ones before that (15 plates)As does my new Fiesta (65), I'd be quite surprised if it's been dropped from the Focus.Totally Debt Free & Mortgage Free Semi retired and happy0 -
I'm on my third Focus in the last 8 years after having had company cars for years (need to change regularly due to the company's car allowace requiremnts.
I have a 2013 Mk 3 1.0 ecoboost Zetec s. It's brillant. A really great car to drive. The sports seats are very comfortable on long drives and it looks good and it's very nippy.
If you do a lot of motorway driving then the 1.0l 125ps 6-speed like mine is a better choice than the 100ps 5-speed.0 -
1.0 125 shifts my CMax around easily, way better than my old 1.6 Focus.0

And the new Focus RS is coming out 345bhp, AWD and around the £30k mark.0

What's it like on motorways? Mine's the 1.6 150bhp eco boost titanium which is more than I need but I would have thought that engine was good in the Fiesta body but a bit underpowered in the heavier Focus body.
I have the 125bhp in my Fiesta and it's excellent in that. I suspect it would probably be adequate in the Focus, but that the lower powered Eco boost engine might struggle with the heavier car.0 -

Maybe it depends on area, I'm in Sarf London. I think I've seen a Focus estate used as a dog van.
My Focus is a June '11 - quite early in the build so maybe it was dropped and brought back or I just got an iffy one.
I've no reason to change now - but if I were presented with the right size windfall (or competition win) then I'd happily get the same again with the new nose and the revamped version of the ecoboost engine.
Drove behind a 15 Astra Estate in the way from Romford today.
I wonder if the decisions on what to buy are now more localised than they used to be?
If you drive near Westminster they still have plenty of old shape i30's knocking about, usually one just down from Parliament Sq by Horseguards.0 -
I've driven a few of the new Focuses. They actually drive really well and they seem well screwed together. My only complaint is that the interior seems a bit plasticy to me and on the lower models the screen on the dash that does the radio etc is a bit small. Our neighbour has a sport model that looks quite smart. I'd say well worth a look.0
