How would you store a mattress topper?

I wanted to use a mattress topper on a sofa bed I am going to buy. Where and how would I store it when not in use? Can you roll them up and out in a wardrobe? Also, can you put a memory foam topper on a memory foam mattress (the one in the sofa bed)?

You could store it under the mattress of your other bed.

I am trying to decide between 2 sofa beds one is memory foam and the other pocket sprung. I know you can put the topper on the pocket sprung mattress.

We do this and the mattress topper just lives rolled up under our bed when not in use.
