vista problems are stupidly overexagerated by MS haters..I'v had it for four months now and can honestly say it's nothing but an excellent OS when run on a fairly decent pc
I'm not a Vista user yet but most of the problems that people talk about seem to be the exact same issues when XP came out. People have such short memories. e.g. lack of vista drivers making some hardware useless. I had the exact same problem when I upgraded to XP from 98. Most of these "issues" are just part and parcel of a new OS that we have to live with and only some of those issues actually being MS's responsibility."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

I've had vista on my gaming rig for several months, and the only problem I had were the occasional blue screens because of my Belkin wireless usb dongle.
Plus, you can hardly blame Microsoft for bad driver support. The beta testing for Vista started all the way back in September 2005. Its the fault of the companies creating the hardware that their vista drivers are rubbish. Microsoft even had to delay the release of vista from Christmas 06 to January 07 because there weren't enough stable drivers available. Because of this, I know which companies I'm not going to be buying from (Belkin >_>).
I'm not a Microsoft fanboy, but I know what works, and whose fault it is. While they can be blamed for many other problems, companies have been able to develop drivers for vista for ages.0 -
I've said ti before but I bought a new machine with Vista pre-installed in January. I have had no problems with it at all. All of my old peripherals worked even an 8 year old printer.
I don't see how releasing a Service Pack can be considered a bad thing, Microsoft are just bundling up all the updates so far and a few new things.
To be honest I think it's been a better release than XP was in it's early days. There certainly haven't been the major problems people predicted would happen. It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die0
