That *is* a lot of thinking! If you do a third of that this month, you'll be doing really well2023: the year I get to buy a car0

5 miles of dog walking should give you plenty of thinking time! That's when I do all my best thinking, admittedly not quite 5 miles though...MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0

I do think too much, sometimes I wear myself out thinking!! I just wish my body could keep up with all the thoughts.
The dog walking is great (physically and mentally), it's a shame I don't get do it every day at the moment with our current workload. Sometimes we cheat and ride the horses whilst he runs alongside. He loves it when we go for a gallop, the horses go much faster than my legs!
This month has turned out very spendy. I am soooooo close to hitting the 4k milestone this month, but I don't think I can make it. The interest has just been paid on the 123 account and a few bits and pieces on receipts transferred over from the business account. I am about £95 short at the moment. Very frustrating!
Good news too that the lady would like the pony, I think I will put away that cash for DD1 21st birthday and then that is all done and dusted (so tempted to put into savings though to crash through that milestone!)
I've updated CP tonight and nearly up to £40 in rewards, not sure what to allocate that to yet. Also just checked my credit score in Clear Score and pleased to say it is nice and high, the site looks very good, but not sure why it thinks I can save money by taking out offers on high interest credit cards!0 -
You could always borrow from yourself to crash through that milestone2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Milestone or not, you're so close, and that has a massive impact - do it if you can, and if you can't, still give yourself the pat on the pack you deserve for getting where you have - it's massive!Baby Step 1 - £1k Emergency Fund - COMPLETE
Baby Step 2 - Pay off all debts except the Mortgage - £9,326 to go
Baby Step 3 - Save 6 months of expenses into full Emergency Fund - £4,300 to go
Baby Step 4 - Put 15% into Pension
Baby Step 6 - Pay off the Mortgage early
Baby Step 7 - Live like no-one else0 -
It must be fate! My dentist appointment next week has been cancelled, so barring any unexpected expenses next week there will be enough to tip the total savings this year over 4,000 :T0

Oh wow! The universe wants you to meet that goal, thats for sure2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Looks like you will make that targetMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -
So pleased it's the weekend after another hectic week, although a fair bit of work to still do over the weekend.
£25 has been requested from SB, so waiting for that to appear.
Everything for hubby's birthday next month has arrived, just need to wrap it now and meal out is booked also.
An overnight stay has also been booked for an event we are going to at the end of July. Lots to look forward to next month0 -
Well I managed a very long (and extremely muddy) walk with the dog & pony yesterday. I started a work project which I've been procrastinating about, so I feel better that it's started now. Also swapped one of my Ll0yds accounts over to a club account and set up transfers ready for end of year dividend. I'm looking forward to the free cinema tickets!!0
