Thanks for your email - received and digested.
Phoned my conveyancers this morning ... I've been told that the plan needs remarking due to an overlap with another lease within the freehold (One of my neighbours) with respect to the parking space and that this is the only outstanding issue. I take with a pinch of salt what is being said of course given case history ...
I've emailed you more details, I'm hoping you can confirm (or suggest) that the recommended actions would be enough to resolve the detail?
Without your responses I'd be nowhere on this Adam - I massively appreciate your input.
Thanks

One other question (to anyone who can help),
My solicitors also suggested they could submit an application without reference to the parking space which would go through immediately.
I said that sounded like a bad idea, because my valuation was arrived upon based on offstreet parking as one of the assets of the property and I'd expect it could impact the valuation. My space IS in the leasehold contract and I'm sure we could issue an updated application later on with the space included once these matters are resolved - so the question is would it be worth submitting and getting approved a title deed without reference to the space, attempting to get the mortgage completed, and then following this up yet again.
I'm asking the solicitors acting on behalf of Leeds BS the same question naturally.. Just wondered if anyone here is aware of any precedent.
Fun times
