try accessing your BT email accountDo you want your money back, and a bit more, search for 'money claim online' - They don't like it up 'em Captain Mainwaring0

If you didn't access the email for 90 days then it may have been deleted. See paragraph 38 of http://www.productsandservices.bt.com/products/static/terms/value-added-service.html#service_email
There is no "technical helpline", just the Indian call centre. They are there to keep customers away from the people at BT who understand how things work.If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0 -
Best of luck getting anyone who knows ( or cares ) about your issue.
And the time it takes to get what you believe to be a resolution can come as a surprise . One of my many calls was 52 mins and 37 secs.
Oh , and when you inevitably get transferred they do not pass any of the information (that you have so painstakingly given) on to the next one in the chain.Forgotten but not gone.0 -

Not meaning this to have a go at you in any way shape or form and I fully understand BT has a really bad rep;
On the flip side I've been with them for 6 odd years, we've got Infinity broadband, TV and phone with them and pay them a good whack of cash each month - In the 6 years we've been with them they've been great, we've had maybe 1 or 2 issues with the TV box all of which have been sorted promptly.
The Indian call center can be frustrating if you approach it with a negative attitude from the start, but I've found (as with most call centers) if your friendly and co-operative from the outset they'll go out of their way to help you in anyway possible.0
