Depression/Anxiety Is there help moneywise?

Hi all,
I suffer from depression and anxiety, so much so I may have to drop from full time to part time hours at work in order to maintain my health (which I'm sure you'll agree it very important).
Unfortunately this would of course mean quite the drop in my wages, does anyone know if there's any kind of financial support available for me?
I don't have children I currently earn £12k before tax and I live with my husband who earns £13k+ a year before tax if that helps.

they earn too much to qualify for working tax credits, the threshold is around 18k for a couple.Do you already claim tax credits?
OP.... until april you wouldn't be entitled to working tax credits, but if you expect your point income to drop below 18k for the next tax year you can apply then.
have you looked into housing benefit and council tax support?0 -
You can apply for pip if you havent already. It depends how bad your mental health is but it might be worth a go x2022 Comp total (prizes + free spins): £494.81 #20 £12 a day Jan: £382.95/£372 #57 360 1p challenge: £17.70 £10 a day Feb: £571.09/£280 March: £311.96/£3100

Hiya first off my sincere sympathy I suffer with both of these amongst other mental health issues and know that it is an awful illness to cope with for anyone. But if you have been affected by it to the point you have had to withdraw half your working hours I am guessing it is severely affecting you on a daily basis.you can put a claim in for p.I.p it used to be called disability living allowance. Anyway it doesn't go by your actual condition it goes by how that condition affects you. As with depression I am sure you are lacking motivation some says for example and maybe need encouragement from your partner to get up and dressed. Amongst other things. You need to get evidence from any doctors and tell them medication if you are on any. It is very hard sometimes for them to make a decision and are much tougher now than d.l.a but as long as your daily routine is being affected by your mental health and you can provide any proofs they require I say you stand a good chance yes. But don't be disheartened if they turn you down the first time if you ask for a review or make an appeal the decision can and does change if you can make it clear how you are affected. I know this because my first application was turned down completely but when I ask for a review and they phoned my doctors they gave me the highest rate you can get for personal care. Their are two rates of p.I.p the standard rate which maybe you can receive and the enhanced rate. Please do make an application as you are just as entitled as anyone with a physical illness it's just a bit harder to prove. Take care and I wish you all the best.0
