Refund Still Not Received After 14 Weeks

Hello everyone.

I was just wondering if someone could help me. I placed an order online with Mango Outlet on 8th November 2015 totalling £77.98 and the money came out of my account the following day. However, I decided to return the items for a refund on 17th November and have proof that the company received and signed for the parcel. I have not yet received the money back and despite the many calls and e-mails to them, they just tell me they are looking into the situation. (Their HQ is in Spain and they do not have a phone number for them) Does anyone know who I can contact next to try and resolve this? I have tried Trading Standards already, to no avail. After looking on the Internet, it seems like many people have this problem with Mango Outlet.

Thanks in advance! :)

It's not clear how you paid, you say "money came out of my account", was it by debit card? If it was, contact the card issuer about doing a Chargeback.

    How did you pay?

Has it really been 14 weeks? Do you perhaps mean October instead of November? If it is November, its 11 weeks from purchase. You should be able to do a chargeback with your bank if you paid by card for non-receipt of refund. If it was October and you paid by card, you'll want to hurry as there's typically a 120 day time limit on chargeback claims.

  • Sorry, it was indeed my HSBC Visa Debit Card and 11 weeks ago. Thanks for the advice.
