Bought two pairs mens trousers labelled at 9.00 each and two shirts at 7.00 each.
Receipt says "total before saving 32.00"
It then gives another 29% off the shirts and another 44% off the trousers, receipt saying "Balance to pay 20.02".
According to my maths your purchases before saving totalled £25 - so you may have got a better bargain than you think

The promotion quoted on the receipt is UPTO 70% DISCOUNTthe 'disc' means that the items were part of a promotion as well as being in the sale. lower on the receipt it should tell you what the promotion is (e.g. books are 3 for 2, some are in the sale, but they're still 3 for 2)illegitimi non carborundum0 -

the suits make me laugh, they get spread all round the store by shoppers and you end up with 50 inch trousers and 40 inch jackets
there are some oddly sized peeps out there0 -
In the Glasgow store yesterday, they had nice suit jackets at £25 in sizes 46 and 48 but the trousers were all 30 and 32! You would need to be shaped like the male equivalent of a Barbie doll to get a suit.0

Do you not realise that these are leftovers? Speaking as a man I would always buy a suit with at least one or two pairs of spare trousers, hence the leftovers!!!!!!!!!!0
