International money transfer

Apologise if I am putting in the wrong category.
My brother has a 'Pound sterling' account in Dubai, I want to send him money from UK.
I bank with FirstDirect, they have told me it will charge me 25£ for the transfer.
I was wondering is it my only option, or is there any cheap alternative to it?

Thanks but unfortunately most of them only do in the country's native currency, but I want it £ to £.

I don't think that the OP can find anything useful here for £-->£ transfer, although £-->Dirham can cost cheaper than £25.

IIRC, HSBC do international transfers for just £4 or free to another HSBC account.
