Amazon don't do discounts and are also not on any cashback sites. Nectar points are the best thing to do.

Honestly, its so rare Amazon do discount codes and its normally well marketed- to get rid of things they maybe aren't selling so well. Discounts don't tend to be worth the wait IMO I have never seen one I could have used.

If you have a deadline to buy, maybe wait up until you absolutly have to buy that way if (by some strange fluke) they do offer codes, you will know you tried your best to get one and this may relieve some of the "if only I had waited..." feeling!

If you know the gifts are sort after though, I wouldn't leave it too far into December.

Only slight benefit is to order via Nectar if you have a card as you do get points, but make sure nothing is in your saved stuff or the points won't get added
