Does Quido pay out for only contents cover?

Hello,
I’m about to buy my first property - yippy! Although as its a maisonette the buildings cover is done separately and i have no say about the insurer! (urgh!)
Therefore i only have the option to purchase contents cover myself. I have seen quiet a few insurers on quidco and topcashback but just to see if anyone else has received cashback on only contents cover?? And more importantly, any which people know definitely don’t pay out unless you buy both. ~Most say home insurance so really they should as otherwise they should say buildings and contents cover shouldn’t they??
Ta very much

I always buy my insurance seprately, so i get cashback for both contents and buildings.
Try and pick one with a good tracking history. If it does not track, the companies rarely pay out if there is not much profit in it.0 -
i was going to ask this too, does anyone know which ones are best to go with for just contents, that have good tracking reliability.0

We recently got our contents insurance from Lloyds - cost c£75, cashback £120. (used Barclays for buildings - more cashback !)
We purchased the insurance in mid-June, and it had tracked and validated when I looked the following day. Quidco have just received the payment from Lloyds and it is scheduled to be paid within the next few days.
Recommend doing a search via Quidco with Kelkoo first - this will confirm that your security software is not stripping out the referring URI (so they know you have come from Quidco). Then delete all your cookies etc before making the purchase.
If the insurance does not track, you can cancel it within 14 days and try again with another.0 -
I went through Quidco to get contents insurance with More Than, last week.
It said on the Quidco page, £82 for home insurance BUT I only wanted contents ins, and only £50 was tracked, so maybe the £82 is for contents and buildings insurance?
EDIT, Just checked Quidco and for home insurance with more than, it now says £65?
Definitely said £82 last week, thats why I went with them.Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0
